After a rich year-end releases and success stories, UTC Fire & Safety has invited their partners at the annual meeting dedicated to them to celebrate together the results and to create preconditions for a more promising future. Thus, on March 15, 2012, at "Ana Sport & Spa" Hotel in Poiana Brasov, took place 2012 Romanian & Bulgarian Business Partners Meeting.

The event included presentations of UTC Fire & Safety representatives and partners, an award ceremony for the most dynamic partners of UTC Fire & Safety, including HELINICK, and also relaxing moments around the campfire and dinner.
The event was attended by partners and dealers of UTC Fire & Safety. The guests list included Siel Invest, HELINICK Partner Company.

Helinick has successfully completed the automatic installation for fire extinguishing Novec 1230 for National Library.
The new headquarters of the National Library was inaugurated on December 15, 2011 for the press, the public will have access inside the Splaiul Union, No. 22, starting next year.
"The value of the entire project was 103 million Euros excluding VAT. Is the most important cultural investment in the last 20 years," said Culture Minister Hunor Kelemen, who was present at the inauguration with the Prime Minister at that time, Emil Boc.
National Library was designed in order to become a cultural center, which will be specialized for reading rooms, research rooms and individual study spaces, as well as events and broadcasting. Also, the National Library will have conference rooms, library, antique, outdoor cafes and restaurants with terraces to the Dambovita, offices, a dining room, nursery staff and medical institution. The space will be organized around a central atrium and glass elevators will serve as movement for visitors.

On January 4, 2012, HELINICK celebrates 21 years of activity. For us, who are HELINICK, is a happy moment. A new complex and important project is about to begin: Helinick & Hotel Hampton by Hilton Hotel.

Our specialists will integrate for a high-technology surveillance system including fix and mobile cameras; they will install a complex security solution including fire and intrusion detection, CO, sound and public addressing, access control, and voice-data network.
 

In October, in Bucharest, took place the most important international event dedicated to the protection of critical infrastructure – the conference Critical Infrastructure Protection - Cooperation between the government, business and civil society for protection of critical Infrastructure.

Over 100 participants signed up for this event: institutions, partners in Romania and leading specialists from Europe and the USA, representatives of the Presidency and Prime Minister of Romania, presidents of associations and directors of major companies in the infrastructure domain.

On the first day of the event, Helinick held a presentation about the Electronic Security Role in Critical Infrastructure Protection.
The conference was organized by the Romanian National Committee of World Energy Council together with the Romanian Association for Technology Security, the Romanian Association for Promoting Critical Infrastructure Protection and EURISC Foundation. With our experience and technical know-how in security and safety solutions we were able to precisely identify the optimum solutions for our customers security needs: automatic fire detection system, the central unit and fire extinguishing system.

Helinick, in partnership with Bosch, signed on August 2011 the contract concerning the implementation of a complex fire protection system with ASSMB.

The "turnkey solution" proposed by Helinick to beneficiary includes both electrical installation work and testing and commissioning of fire detection system.

Helinick won the bid for the installation of an integrated security system for civil and industrial infrastructures with S.C. ENEL DISTRIBUTIE DOBROGEA S.A., S.C. ENEL DISTRIBUTIE MUNTENIA S.A., S.C. ENEL DISTRIBUTIE BANAT S.A. si S.C. ENEL Green POWER ROMANIA SRL. The bid winner was assigned based on a complex and performance technical offer.

Our security solution implemented by our professional team comprises the following modules: access control, intrusion and perimeter detection, and video surveillance, systems that will be installed in the 385 Enel locations.

The people of Petrila will be monitored and recorded non-stop by High Resolution IP Video Surveillance System video surveillance system - SANYO Japan & MILESTONE Denmark.

In the city will be installed 40 IP HD megapixel cameras, designed for traffic surveillance, prevention of vandalism, looting and an effective intervention in these points through effective coordination of field crews.

The contract provides for the supply of technological and functional equipments and also the execution of video surveillance system by the City Council of Petrila goals, to raise quality and safety of residents by reducing crime in the area.

It must be mentioned that such a centralized oversight induce a psychological effect in the perception of traffic participants especially on the possible villains ensuring safety population growth.
The Helinick specialists provided a complex video surveillance solution the video equipment is integrated in a matrix within the dispatch and it records images 24/24.

In May 2011, The Buildcorp Company entrusted Helinick to install the security and safety systems for Palas Project Iasi.
Located in the historic core of the city,near the Palace of Culture, all urban PALAS developed by Iulius Group will be a miniature city, built on an area of over 320,000 sqm a place where people will reside, will work, will shop, and will recreate.

Thus, HELINICK will install one of the most complex integrated systems in Romania, using the Alliance platform, developed by UTC Fire and Security, including fire detection and signaling systems, fire detection systems with the warning and evacuation systems, toxic gas emission detection (CO and CH4), surveillance video system (CCTV) alongside digital sound systems, public address and evacuation, and also structured cabling. The ensemble will have its grand opening at the end of year 2011.

PALAS represents a premiere, both for Romania and for the real estate portfolio of the Iulius Group Company, being the largest private investment ever made in the Moldova region.

At Medias, on 15-16 April 2011 with the support of Ministry of Economy, Trade and the Business Environment took place The International Symposium – “Protection of the infrastructure for power energy transportation in critical situation - Interdependencies and dependencies between power energy and communication”.
As one of the sponsors of this event, Helinick was involved in its organization.

Starting with March 8th 2010, IKEA Romania is part of IKEA Group, after 3 years of operating under local franchise, previously granted by Inter IKEA Systems B.V.
On September 2010, IKEA Romania announced the intention to completely replace the fire detection and alarming system that was previously installed.

After evaluation different systems, IKEA Romania decided to install detection and alarming equipment produced by APOLLO FIRE DETECTORS Ltd, recognizing the unique characteristics and technologic quality that Discovery range has:

Since 14.04.2011 Helinick is providing safety equipments for the Swedish furniture retailer and interior design, following to ensure the commissioning of the system and training the personnel who will use the system.

We signed two new contracts with Iron Mountain, the world leader in information storage and archiving.

We finalised PETROM CITY project “Integrated Security System”.

This meant the successful achievement of a project of which the execution phases were carried out in two years. The implemented integrated system within this project represents one of the greatest and complex systems, based upon an open IP platform. By integrating the access control systems, video monitoring, perimeter detection, parking and interphone systems, we managed to implement hi – tech security system which meets the most sophisticated standards

We obtain other two certifications ISO 27001 – Information Security Management and SA8000 – Social Responsibility.

Upon celebration of 100 years of existence, the National College Liviu Rebreanu of Bistrita received a gift from Helinick that consisted in new furniture into the celebration hall.

We signed the agreement for Butane Gas Deposit of Contesti, which consists of implementation of a video monitoring system for the environment

We have obtained the certification within the security systems manufactured by Schneider Electric, one of the world leaders into the field of integrated security and building management systems .

We received again the certification Professional Partner Milestone Systems, the world leader in development of “open platform” software for IP video systems.

We obtained a new technical certification into the field of key management system from Deister Electronic, developer and producer of electronic security systems and RFID identification solutions.

We signed an agreement with MAE/MF for RO FSCH12.IV.6: “Supply of access control system components, video monitoring, alarm systems, perimeter monitoring, IT&C networks and communication call centres”.

We won the bid for the following project: “Purchase of design services and works execution for Development of TVCI system and access control to CDZ Bucharest- ROMATSA headquarters".

Our colleagues in Cluj Napoca have a new and modern office.

Continuing the partnership with Bosch Security Systems we obtained the technical certification for the installation of the latest eviction detection system MAP5000 Intrusion System.

We operated the security integrated system into the Switch Plants Transelectrica Timisoara and Arad.

We implemented the integrated security system into the Switch Plant Transelectrica Iaz.

A new logo, 2 links coming together, symbolising what Helinick is today: security, precision, strictness, attention to details, a strong business, a name on the electronic security and safety systems market.

We finalized the implementation project of a unitary integrated security system for a number of 54 electric Switch plants pertaining to ENEL Dobrogea.

This system is of the following type “multi-site” which allows a centralized monitoring of electric plants located in South – east of Romania. Each of the plants is fitted with a complete access control integrated system, eviction detection, fire detection, perimeter detection and closed circuit television.

The entire management of the systems is performed from the central call centre or from one of the local call centres which ensure the system redundancy. By means of the solution adopted – the unique management integrated platform – the imposed targets were achieved: increase of the safety degree, reducing operating costs, maintenance and management.
 

Within the project “5 weeks in balloon”, we ensured the video monitoring system and we provided optimal technical support which was necessary to this adventure within which two caravans Orange travelled to 10 cities of the country: Alba Iulia, Arad, Bacau, Baia Mare, Brasov, Bucuresti, Oradea, Piatra Neamt, Sibiu, Suceava and Targu Mures.
